If you get a chance to see this film don't miss it. I saw it at a film festival. I think it is only playing at film festivals. I had read the short story years ago and was wondering if they could pull it off. I was pleasantly surprised. The casting is perfect. The maitre d' looked just like the book. All the acting is incredible. Some of the best acting I have ever seen in a horror film. The special effects were very well done, it looked realistic.
This is the best of Stephen King, he pulls out all the stops. There are times you laugh, scream, and I didn't want the ride to end. The only thing I wanted to know more about the characters, the film could have been longer. My friends were glad we went to see it, they are still talking about it. My girlfriend even liked it and she normally hates Stephen King movies. Great movie! A fantastic Stephen King movie!
