Originally, New Line Cinema was set to distribute, but they gave the film to Lionsgate shortly before production. A similar situation occurred when the studio gave distribution rights for Alpha Dog (2006) to Universal Pictures, but that case was related to controversy over real-life events.

Goofs:

Factual errors: The Penguins that Cam works with are African Penguins, also known as Jackass Penguins. They do not live in Antarctica or in cold weather at all. They are only found on the coast of South Africa and Namibia. So, they would not be shown in a habitat with fake ice. They are warm weather birds.

hilarious

I thought this movie was Hilarious (if you like sexual comedy, then you'll love this movie, if not, then don't go to see it ... but if your a fan of Superbad, this movie's for you, and personally, I think this movie is funnier).

Both Dane Cook and Jessica Alba are great in this movie ... they had me rollin'. I know a lot of ppl put bad reviews up for this movie, but both me and my roommate, and everyone else in the theater, were laughing really hard. Like I said, if you don't do the sex jokes well, then this isn't for you, but pretty much any college-aged (or college-minded) person will laugh their ass off at this movie. No, this isn't like Dane's stand-up cuz its a movie! If you approach it as such you won't be disappointed. Anyway, if u want a good laugh & can handle the raunchiness, go see this movie!
