Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Although many differences in the four main characters' retelling of the story exist (object positions, lighting and even dialog,) they are not continuity errors, but the film's actual representation of differences in their stories, just as real-life eyewitness accounts do indeed differ.
Continuity: In the cable car when Red gets the red kerchief/gag off, it's hanging around her neck, visible as she looks out of the window. In the next shot the red kerchief has disappeared.
Continuity: Where did the coffee come from When Twitchy drinks? Before that everyone is sitting around in Granny's cottage and no-one is drinking - no coffee mugs in sight. Then as soon as they are outside, Granny has a coffee mug in her hand.
Continuity: During Red's telling of the story, we see her basket on the front of the bike. It changes shapes between shots.
Continuity: When the wolf gets in the ski lift his tail isn't trapped any more in the photo camera.
Continuity: When Granny uses her solo ski as a snowboard the ski becomes much bigger on its own.
Miscellaneous: On the movie poster all the characters are holding who does their voices. But the character holding "Xzibit as Chief Grizzly" is not actually Chief Grizzly.
Continuity: The Wolf tells twitch to remove the flash from the camera as the job is "covert" which he does saying "OK no flash". However, later when Red falls out of the cable car the flash is back on the camera
Revealing mistakes: In the end credits, the voice actors' names (in 3D block letters) are lit by a spotlight. As the light pans either right or left, the shadows of the letters go the same direction. They should go the opposite direction.
Plot holes: If Chief Grizzly is in charge of the investigation - and the head of the police force - how can Nicky Flippers take charge?
Factual errors: After drinking Granny's coffee, Twitchy becomes supercharged and races down the mountain. But coffee is not a stimulant. Caffeine inhibits the adenosine in the brain, which "tells" the body it is tired. Caffeine essentially tricks the body into thinking it isn't weary. After drinking the coffee, Twitchy might be more alert, but he wouldn't have any extra energy.
Revealing mistakes: When Wolf is tossing the dynamite out of the mine car, it is still in the tunnel. While the dynamite tossed on the open-air track detonates, the tunnel is still intact a moment later when Japeth and Red fly out. The tunnel should have been blasted shut.
Continuity: Boingo uses Red's hood to steal the recipe book, and then discards it inside the cable car when they arrive at his lair. But when Red is rescued from the dynamite-laden car, Granny has the hood in her hands.
Continuity: When Granny is seen by Red in the mine cart, Granny is dressed in her normal clothes. But just before Granny activates her parachute she is in her ski clothes.
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Red is supposedly a black-belt in Karate (Granny has a picture of Red winning a trophy), but when she fights Boingo all of her blows are directed at his head, which is easily defensible due to his prehensile ears. Red should know that when attacking a shorter opponent you use your reach, and strike vulnerable spots. Instead, she continually launches blows that are easily blocked.
