I love the character designs for this show, and the humor is great for those of us who aren't 5 years old, yet still don't want completely offensive jokes of the likes of the Simpsons. It's called 6teen, the characters are 6teen, and I can only assume the target audience is of the same age. The content isn't going to be squeaky clean when your main characters are teenagers in the teenage world of dating and growing up. The show surprisingly deals with a lot of teenage issues behind all the ridiculous cartoon situations they're put in... stuff like dealing with mixed marriages, and heck, even periods! It's one of the few cartoons I can still find joy in watching in my grumpy old age of 21 (*wink*). It does contain character stereotypes, but I think in that way it tries to include all the different "cliquey" types of high school and shows that they all can get along.
