Trivia:
The show is based on a regular feature in ToyFare magazine, of which Matthew Senreich was the editor. The feature was titled "Twisted Toyfare Theater" and had various toys in bizarre situations. Then, Senreich interviewed Seth Green for his magazine and Green approached Senreich about doing an animated series based on the magazine feature. The result was an Internet series titled "Sweet J Presents" which aired on Sony's website in 2001. Green and Senreich then pitched the show to the Cartoon Network. moreQuotes:

-to call this show funny is a severe understatement
-I knew Seth Green was a goofy person but i had no idea he was this goofy. his creation Robot Chicken is probably the funniest thing since Conan O' Brien. it's a 12 minute stop motion weekly show on the cartoon network. features about 20 gags in each episode and each of them hilarious. they sometimes manage to get celebrities to do voices on the show and somehow all these celebrities agree to make fun of their public image. my only problem with the show is it's length, it's only 12 minutes long and over before you realize it. that to me seems cruel. i wish cartoon network will just give them more money to hire more people and make 30 min. shows instead of 12 minute ones. Seth Green and his friends have created a classic show that has joined Family Guy and Futurama as my favorite TV shows. wish it was longer and wish they'd do more gags with M. Night Shyamalan saying "what a twist" hope they release a DVD with commentary soon, love to hear what they were thinking when they came up with most of the stuff on the show
-If you're someone who doesn't have time to sit and watch a half an hour show then this probably perfect for you. it's wonderfully funny and definitely my favorite show on TV right now next to Best Week Ever
