Like the famous classic « Le diner De cons », this adaptation of a successful Parisian play hit the ground with a lot of subtle humor, and silly situations. During a party, Claire pretends to end a 12 year relationship with the cool Bruno. Gathered in the family country house, The friends and family are gossiping so much, with a lot of unexpected reactions. Former TV show host, Bernard Rapp is delivering a surprisingly funny, deep and subtle film about the couple. Thank to the original authors, the director managed to keep the shaggy and sometimes hilarious tone, well acted. The photography is purely superb during this one-day story. The usual cliché overused in this kind of French comedy are missing. We have some nice and intelligent lines, than the rather kind of things expected. A very good French movie you should not miss!!!
