Trivia:
A useful game exploit can be found on the 'Funeral Home' level. If the player stands near to the door in the attic section, it is possible to shoot enemies in the back as the enter. They will spawn endlessly allowing the player to accumulate vast scores thanks to the multiplier system which exponentially increases your points during a particularly long kill streak. It is not uncommon for someone to amass hundreds of thousands of points in a single sitting by exploiting this feature.

STAR RATING:*****Unmissable****Very Good***Okay**You Could Go Out For A Meal Instead*Avoid At All Costs
Following on the plot line from the comic books and the two movie adaptations, you are Frank Castle, hunting through the grimy areas of New York City, gunning for the scum that infest the streets and back alleys like rats.
I'm very glad they brought a video game of The Punisher out having thoroughly enjoyed the two film adaptations, although the most recent Tom Jane one didn't feature very prominently on it's cinema release, garnering only a limited release at very late showing times?!?,so why a video game would warrant merit on a profit level I don't know.
There's an impressively dark, grimy feel to it and it's quite good fun to start with. But when you fiddle with the right analog stick too rigorous,it throws you off course and you lose direction of the Castle character. There's an impressive use of the control buttons required to attack the villains too.But when you've got a certain distance, everything becomes enclouded in darkness and it's impossible to manoeveure him around.
The graphics suffice and it's authentically recorded the voices of the characters. But,with this one, you're just left with a shot in the dark. And it don't get you very far.**
