Jonah is a 15 year old misanthrope with no friends and a mom who is helplessly stuck in the 80's.
He escapes his monotony by going to the birthday party of a spoiled rich-kid classmate, and meets someone there who he truly connects with...
The birthday boy's mother. A funny and moving coming of age tale.
Very good acting by both linda hamilton (in a role that could not be more different from Sarah Connor) and Shane Hunter as Jonah.
Also some great editing and strobe effects add to the wonderful pacing of this short.
