"Land of the Dead"'s Pittsburgh premiere was at the Byham Theatre, which used to be called the Fulton Theatre. This theatre, when it was still the Fulton, was the same theatre where Night of the Living Dead (1968) premiered in 1968.

Goofs:

Revealing mistakes: When one of the military men attempts to throw a bomb his hand is cut off by a zombie. He falls to the ground, covering the bomb he was holding and gets blown up. When his body lands, his other hand falls off, revealing that it's a mannequin hand.

Pure Crap!!

This movie was such a let-down. George Romero should be embarrassed that he let such a piece of crap bear his name. It was not only awful, I feel that it has disgraced every other zombie movie ever made. This falls more under the veil of an action movie rather than a horror flick. The acting was atrocious. It was totally bland and without feeling. The plot was really weak and in my opinion, the script was very poorly written. Definitely not up to the standards we have all come to expect from Romero. It was a total disappointment. I sat watching and just kept thinking to myself that it has to get better, but it never did. It actually got worse. Every time it seemed like it was going to get good, it switched scenes. The only scene really worth watching was the head-flipping zombie. It was just pathetic. It seemed to me that this movie was just an attempt to get something out on the market. No matter what the cost. I will not buy this movie and I actually think I should have been reimbursed for having seen it. I cannot express enough how disappointing it is.
