Break out the champagne because it only took three days to score our first conversion of 2010. That’s right, Kristen Bell is going lesbian. Ok, more accurately, she said she is “99 percent sure” she is going gay thanks to her new film, Burlesque. I have to take her at her word; one of my resolutions was to be more trusting.
The New York Post quotes the Heroes and Veronica Mars star as saying that thanks to her co-stars Cher and Christina Aguilera: “I have never felt so much good female energy around me. I find that I can't take my eyes off them. I'm 99 percent sure I will leave this movie a lesbian.”

Sharing about her experience working alongside Christina Aguilera and Cher, Kristen Bell recently sounded off her belief that "Burlesque" will make her a lesbian. The "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" beauty opened up about the matter when talking to Health Magazine.
"I have never felt so much good female energy around me," the 29-year-old said when recalling the production of the Steve Antin-directed drama musical. The actress behind the narrator's voice on "Gossip Girl" went on detailing, "I find that I can't take my eyes off them. I'm 99 percent sure I will leave this movie a lesbian."
In "Burlesque", Kristen Bell takes on the role of Nikki, a troubled performer who is jealous of Christina Aguilera's Ali. Earlier, the Cynthia Davis of "Couples Retreat" provided clarification about her part to E! Online, saying "My character is fun and sexy but not a stripper. There is no nudity, and there are no pasties and G-strings.

It’s true—the aughts have seen reality television become the medium of choice for mindless entertainment, and a platform where the only necessity for becoming a star is having no shame. However, secretly, I believe that we are actually living in one of the great eras of television. With the growing popularity of serial shows on cable networks that used to be film channels (HBO, AMC, etc) the bar has been raised for the level of writing, acting, and production values we demand as an audience. Intricate serials like Lost proved that a show didn’t have to be a procedural to be popular.
One of my favorite things about watching long-term scripted dramas is they have the time
