slow moving but dark, twisted, and disturbing, 5 November 2006
7/10

A man and a woman have come up with a new idea. Contact them, and they will come and film you while you commit suicide. Now, some of these folks aren't very committed to doing what they've planned, and as the film goes on apparently the camera man grows impatient and begins to help, which at that point makes it no longer suicide, it's called murder. This is rather slow moving and there is almost no explanations by these folks of why they're doing what they're doing, but in some ways some of these attempts are darkly funny, especially the hard-core Satanist-type that starts to scream and yell and whine once he's cut himself. A lot of this is fairly grim and makes you wonder about the population of Germany, really. This will definitely not be for everyone, and it really can't be called anything other than "sick", I guess, but I found it fascinating up to a point and it does have a rather bizarre ending. I know there's plenty of sick and twisted folks right here in America but the Germans seem to not shy away from putting it on film in ways that would make most people blanch. 7 out of 10, proceed with caution.
