The story is setted in Sicily at the time of the second word war. The focus of the film is the story of a little village during the three days between the leaving of the Nazi army and the arrive of the American army. In this three days the population think about a different life with no army, freedom and peace. The main character is Giuseppe (very well played by Enrico Lo Verso) who is a guy just graduate that is insecure about is role in this moment. Part of the population want him as leader because is graduate and mature but is still young and he want to enjoy is life. This doubt is also about is love life because Giuseppe is loved by two girls: the rich and noble one and the popular one. What will be the choice in love and life?
A classic story filmed in a non classic way, very modern with wonderful images of this amazing part of Italy.
