James: Jesse, I brought these.
[indicating two guns]
Jesse: Do those even work?
James: They'll knock anyone down who tries to get at us.

ulrra-no budget weird little flick, 25 January 2005
7/10
Author: TheatreX from Louisville, KY

Hey now, this is an ultra-low budget weird little flick, with a strange mix of high-school science film, Blair Witch Project, Night of the Living Dead, and a dash of Eraserhead, for the parts where you can't tell what the hell you're looking at but it's sure strange. Imagine a future where men have been all but rendered sterile and the cloning of people is as ordinary as regular child-bearing. Except when the 'first strand' of clones reach a certain age and go haywire. For all its faults, this is pretty well done and if you can get past the way it was filmed, not on film but video, you may enjoy it. Perhaps enjoy isn't the right word, though, because it portrays a bleak and ominous existence. It also shows that the grunge look is still in, which is even more depressing. Despite the low budget and non-professional actors, this manages to get across a feeling of dread throughout the movie, and I kind of like that in a horror film, low budget or not. For some reason this morphs from a color film to a black and white film with title cards towards the end (more like subtitles) when the last of the "normal" people are trying to survive up against the ones that have blown their DNA gaskets. For a cheapie, this is pretty creepy, and worth a watch. 7 out of 10 stars.
