Grinch Named Worst Christmas Movie Ever

24 December 2009 8:11 AM, PST | WENN | See recent WENN news »

How The Grinch Stole Christmas has been named the Worst Christmas Movie of all time in a new online poll.

Editors at Moviefone.com have compiled their top festive flops, and crowned the Ron Howard-directed 2000 release top of the pile.

Explaining their decision, a spokesperson for the site tells WENN, "A loud, garish and obnoxious film, certainly a career low for director Ron Howard - and it's not exactly Jim Carrey's finest hour (or two), either."

The top 10 is as follows:

1. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)

2. The Santa Clause 3 (2006)

3. Deck the Halls (2006)

4. Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984)

5. Four Christmases (2008)

6. Surviving Christmas (2004)

7. Jingle All the Way (1996)

8. Christmas with the Kranks (2004)

9. Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964)

10. Reindeer Games (2000). »

Crazy On The Outside Trailer Gets Tim Allen Out Of Prison

1 December 2009 4:01 PM, PST | cinemablend.com | See recent Cinema Blend news »

Tim Allen needs a good movie. Yes, he.s got Toy Story 3 coming out, which I.d like to bet will be nothing short of spectacular, but he can.t hide behind Buzz Lightyear forever. It.s hard to think of Allen without recalling such travesties as Christmas with the Kranks, The Santa Clause 3 or Wild Hogs. Crazy on the Outside doesn.t look like Allen.s get-out-of-jail-free card, but it could have potential. Coincidently, Allen stars as guy who is finally set free after three years in prison. (In case you didn.t know, Allen spent 28 months in prison after being arresting for possession of over a pound of cocaine.) His sister (Sigourney Weaver) took the liberty of sparing his reputation and telling their mother he.s been in France. Meanwhile, his old partner (Ray Liotta) returns and tries to entice him into some shady business. Then there »
