  • The makers of the British comic magazine "Viz", where the "Fat Slags" characters originally appeared, had no editorial control over this production. It was reported that they were so appalled by the final result that they dropped the characters from the magazine following the film's release. However, the strip was not dropped and that the comic creators never had any intention of doing so. This was probably based on a misquote.
