Eva Green has revealed that she is constantly asked questions about Daniel Craig. The 29-year-old actress, who starred alongside Craig in Casino Royale, has said that women can not stop asking her questions about the 41-year-old actor, Stv reports. Green said: "They ask me about Daniel Craig, Daniel Craig, blah, blah, blah. When people come up to me in the street all they want to know about is Daniel Craig. Was he good looking, was he great to work with? He was, of course. As much as I joke about it, I do love my association with James (more) »

FlashForward Season 1, Episode 8 Review: Playing Cards With Coyote

22 hours ago | TheHDRoom | See recent TheHDRoom news »

Is there any show more annoyingly inconsistent on television right now than ABC's FlashForward? After finally moving the series' plot forward last week and giving us our first set of answers, I had hoped that we may have reached a turning point; that the chunks of filler material might be at an end and that the characters might turn their thoughts once more to actually investigating the blackout.

Unfortunately old habits die hard and this episode sees the series use its most brazen time-wasting device to date; having Simon and Lloyd play poker against each other to decide whether they will reveal their role in causing the flashforward.

The James Bond film Casino Royale proved that, with appropriate stakes for each character, card games are capable of being gripping. Here however the situation feels so contrived and the stakes so low that the sequence is completely devoid of tension, playing »

DVD review: Star Trek

Paramount, rental and retail

As reboots for an old, tired franchise go, this is nearly as good as Martin Campbell's Casino Royale, which similarly went back to basics to explain the character's formation. The "making of" extra makes it clear that director Jj Abrams felt it needed "a little more rock'n'roll". As well as speeding things up, he also made as much of it as real as he could, even using outdated concepts like miniatures. There are moments of real beauty alongside the complex plot explaining how Kirk and Spock came to meet. Diverse elements, including Simon Pegg's Scotty and a gaunt 78-year-old Leonard Nimoy are successfully worked in and, for anyone who has seen Zachary Quinto in Heroes, his casting as the contemporary Spock is, well, logical. The best Star Trek film to date, except for Galaxy Quest.

Eva Green Claims Her Shyness Almost Made Her Pass Out

11 November 2009 11:00 PM, PST | icelebz.com | See recent iCelebz news »

Eva Green used to come close to fainting because of her shyness. The "Casino Royale" actress - who has previously stripped naked in first film "The Dreamers" - claims she hates drawing attention to herself and often finds herself struck dumb in social situations.

Eva, 29, said: "At school when a teacher asked me a question I would almost pass out."

"I was terrible and still can be. It overwhelms me. I can be having dinner with people and I find I can't say a word."

"So being an actor is kind of masochistic."

The French beauty recently revealed she was also insecure about her body, despite a successful modeling career.

Jake Gyllenhaal "Prepared" for a Prince of Persia Sequel

11 November 2009 3:44 AM, PST | Reelzchannel.com | See recent ReelzChannel news »

Actor Jake Gyllenhaal made a name for himself playing quiet, introspective characters in movies like Donnie Darko and Brokeback Mountain, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award. But when the opportunity arose to star as Prince Dastan in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Disney's live-action adaptation of the Ubisoft video game, Gyllenhaal told Coming Soon that he was attracted to the role because it was "unlike anything" he had appeared in before.

To play Prince Dastan, Gyllenhaal had to adopt an English accent, weight train extensively, and learn Parkour, the urban "free running" sport prominently featured in Casino Royale.

The development of the character was massively physical at first, just getting in shape and doing all that stuff and learning Parkour, learning how to swordfight, learning how to get into the mentality of a warrior, somebody who as written is someone who can really fight. That »

French star Eva Green gets naked for recreation of Charlotte Rampling photo

10 November 2009 1:32 PM, PST | ReelLoop.com | See recent Reel Loop news »

French actress Eva Green got all sorts of naked for U.K. magazine Tatler. The 29-year-old recreated a 1973 photo of screen-icon Charlotte Rampling.

Eva Green may be best known for playing Vesper Lynd in the James Bond reboot Casino Royale. She was also in the Bernardo Bertolucci film, The Dreamers, where the starlet was largely nekkid for the whole thing.

Rampling is a cinema legend who frequently appeared in risque films. The English actresses’ career has spanned over four decades in English, as well as French and Italian movies. “I generally don’t make films to entertain people. I choose the parts that challenge me to break through my own barriers,” the now 63-year-old said. “A need to devour, punish, humiliate, or surrender seems to be a primal part of human nature, and it’s certainly a big part of sex. To discover what normal means, you have to surf a tide of weirdness. »

Pinewood Studios sets a New World Record

9 November 2009 4:53 AM, PST | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

As you know, we here at HeyUGuys like to support the British Film Industry as much as we can and that’s why you may see promotions for events that we think our readers will like.

Over the past few weeks, and until the end of the year, Pinewood Studios have set up a ‘drive-in series’ of which our roving reporter Ben went to The Shining a couple of weeks ago (his review here). This weekend, Pinewood Studios decided that just having the biggest screen in Europe wasn’t enough, but that they wanted to break the world record for the largest movie projection Ever! Well, the good news is that this weekend on Saturday, 7th November, they did just that screening Mission: Impossible.

“The film was projected at 41.8 metres wide by 17.8 metres high onto Europe’s largest outdoor screen.”

“This feat forms part of Pinewood’s current Drive-In series for the public, »

Eva Green Goes Completely Naked for Tatler Magazine

Eva Green, who recently admitted that she felt uncomfortable with her shape, flaunts her sexy body for a magazine. Gracing the December edition of Tatler, the depicter of Vesper Lynd in "Casino Royale" is seen wearing nothing but her birthday suit. In the shot, she is captured covering her breasts with her right hand.

Posing for the camera, the 29-year-old beauty recreates a 1970s portrait of British actress Charlotte Rampling. When she mimics the famous steamy image from photographer Helmut Newton, Green is snapped sitting on a polished antique table in front of an ornately gilded mirror, being accompanied with a glass of wine.

As of late, Eva Green revealed her body insecurity, stating "I hate my bum. I'm like everybody. I only really decided to act because I am crazy, it is quite masochistic." She, moreover, said she worries about being typecasted because of her appearance. "I am aware »

David Goyer Talks ‘Ghost Rider 2′

7 November 2009 11:00 AM, PST | The Flickcast | See recent The Flickcast news »

Marvel has a long list of comic-to-film projects that didn’t pan out so well. Ghost Rider is one of them. That may be the most diplomatic way I’ve ever put that. Ordinarily anything having to do with Ghost Rider has elicited a rage in me that leaves me angry. . . Hulk angry. So why am I so calm this time?

Well, as we’ve already covered here at The Flickcast, Ghost Rider is getting a sequel which could have been as craptastic as the first film. However, the script for the new movie is from one of my favorite writers David Goyer (Batman Begins, FlashForward).  Recently, MTV caught up with Goyer and asked him about the Ghost Rider sequel:

“It’s not exactly a reboot,” said Goyer, “I hate to say it’s more realistic, because he’s got a flaming skull for a head, but it’s a »

Ghost Rider 2 'aiming for Casino Royale feel'

5 November 2009 6:17 PM, PST | The Geek Files | See recent The Geek Files news »

Batman scribe and FlashForward showrunner David Goyer recently revealed that Sony studio chiefs were dusting off a Ghost Rider screenplay he wrote nine years ago to make it into a film.

The first Ghost Rider movie in 2007, with Nicolas Cage as a biker who sells his soul to the devil and is transformed into a supernatural bounty hunter, was indeed hellish.

But, nonetheless, it managed to make a reasonable $238million globally (on a budget of $120million) and a further $103million from DVD sales in the USA alone.

Goyer's script will be slightly toned down from its R rating to get a PG-13 classification.

He has now spoken a little more about the project, telling MTV: "It's not exactly a reboot. I hate to say it's more realistic, because he's got a flaming skull for a head, but it's a bit more stripped down and darker. It's definitely changing tone.

Yesterday, We Said This:

Back in September, we told you that Columbia Pictures is revving up for "Ghost Rider 2."

Today, MTV News has reported that the franchise will not get an overhaul (a reboot if you may), but the tone is going to shift!

David Goyer ("Batman Begins") is toning down a script he wrote for a friendlier PG rating tone. Goyer tells MTV News:

"It's not exactly a reboot," said Goyer, who's currently hard at work on his "FlashForward" television series. "I hate to say it's more realistic, because he's got a flaming skull for a head, but it's a bit more stripped down and darker. It's definitely changing tone. What 'Casino Royale' was to the Bond movies, hopefully this will be to 'Ghost Rider.'"

Gover Talks About his Darker, More Existential Ghost Rider

5 November 2009 10:09 AM, PST | Beyond Hollywood | See recent Beyond Hollywood news »

According to comic book movie go-to guy David Goyer, who right now is busy shepherding the show “FlashForward” on TV, and who has just been handed the reins to the “Ghost Rider” franchise, his take on the guy with the flaming skull won’t necessarily be a reboot of the series. That seems to make sense, considering that the franchise only just started 2 years earlier. It will, however, continue on with business as if you’ve never seen the 2007 version or, indeed, need to know anything about the first movie to “get” his sequel. Goyer tells MTV: “It’s not exactly a reboot. I hate to say it’s more realistic, because he’s got a flaming skull for a head, but it’s a bit more stripped down and darker. It’s definitely changing tone. What ‘Casino Royale’ was to the Bond movies, hopefully this will be to ‘Ghost Rider. »

Goyer says Ghost Rider 2 not a reboot.

For those wondering whether the screenplay for the next "Ghost Rider" (now moving from an R rating to a PG-13 rating) would somehow reboot the franchise, MTV News asked Goyer the same question. He said "It's not exactly a reboot. I hate to say it's more realistic, because he's got a flaming skull for a head, but it's a bit more stripped down and darker. It's definitely changing tone. What 'Casino Royale' was to the Bond movies, hopefully this will be to 'Ghost Rider.'" According to Goyer, the sequel is planning to start filming next year. He also said that Nicolas Cage is still attached to play the role of Johnny Blaze. The first film clocked in a big $228 million in worldwide sales. »

Ghost Rider 2 is happening, for some reason, and while there.d been rumors that it might be a reboot (started by Nic Cage) it sounds like we.re in for a pretty traditional sequel. MTV caught up with Ghost Rider 2 screenwriter David Goyer who offered details on what.s up with the sequel.s the 9-year-old script, besides of course, watering it down to receive a PG-13 rating. Says Goyer, .It's not exactly a reboot. I hate to say it's more realistic, because he's got a flaming skull for a head, but it's a bit more stripped down and darker. It's definitely changing tone. Goyer: 'Ghost Rider 2' Not Exactly Reboot

4 November 2009 9:05 PM, PST | CinemaSpy | See recent CinemaSpy news »

MTV recently caught up with screenwriter David Goyer (Batman Begins), to learn how his new Ghost Rider film will differ from the 2007 version. A film that Goyer's not prepared to call it a reboot.

"It's not exactly a reboot," Goyer said. "I hate to say it's more realistic, because he's got a flaming skull for a head, but it's a bit more stripped down and darker. It's definitely changing tone. What 'Casino Royale' was to the Bond movies, hopefully this will be to 'Ghost Rider.'"

Goyer added that the sequel — which uses his old "Ghost Rider" script — will go in front of the cameras next year. Nicholas Cage is still onboard to reprise the role of Johnny Blaze.

"This story picks up eight years after the first film," added Goyer. "You don't have to have seen the first film. It doesn't contradict anything that happened in the first film, »
