You've seen this one before. Several characters, mostly of the seedy variety, intersect and interact with each other in the high desert, only to have some of them survive and some not in downtown L.A. Sound familiar? Looking for Uma Thurman or Charlize Theron, perhaps? Actually, this is an Italian quickie, shot in North America with a mixed cast and a soundtrack half-English and half-Italian. The only recognizable faces belong to Brad Renfro and Vinnie Jones as bank robbers on the run. Oh yes, Casper Van Dien also is on hand as a crippled mob boss. The best performance is supplied by a young Italian beauty named Bianca Guaccero, who plays a young Italian beauty (what a surprise!) on her first visit to America. She gets kidnapped, beat up, cut up and almost raped several times. But isn't what what America is all about, children? Ms. Guaccero manages to look ravishing even after a ride in the trunk of a Cadillac in 110 degree desert heat. You may safely skip this one.
