The opening balloon sequence is irrelevant. This is a 'noughties' middle class stalker movie. It works because the characters are very believable and the shocks are real world shocks as opposed to movie world over the top shocks. A slow burner that fizzles out rather than explodes made for me a very absorbing couple of hours. Despite its irrelevance - don't miss the balloon sequence! Apparently one needs to submit 10 lines of text. Personally I prefer short punchy reviews. Let's all stand up for short punchy reviews.Yes short punchy reviews and not these long winded affairs that everyone has to trawl about half way through until scrolling on to the next one in the hope that it is short and punchy. IMDb seems to think that most movies need a great dissertation where as in fact a short sharp punchy paragraph is all that is needed to sum the thing up.
