• Anachronisms: The police cars that arrive at the orphanage "20 years ago" have three brake lights, a much more recent feature.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: Camera reflected in the door of Carnby's taxi at the beginning of the film.
  
  
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): In the beginning taxi car chase, after Slater's cab is slammed into the wall and the villain backs up to ram the cab again, the camera shot shows the villain "throwing" the car into reverse. The car should already be in reverse and should be shifted into drive to ram the other taxi.
  
  

• Continuity: During the taxi chase at the beginning of the film, the cab chasing Edward Carnby has no rear license plate in one shot, but grows one in the next shot.

• Continuity: The bandage on Cedrac's arm - and the wound it covered - disappears and appears again in her apartment.
  
  
• Plot holes: Light is supposed to be lethal to the Xenos, but when they attack in the last scene, it is in broad daylight.
  
  
• Continuity: After the explosion at the end they exit the wooden structure near the orphanage, which wasn't in the scene when Edward visited the orphanage to ask for the files of the children.
  
  

• Continuity: SPOILER: When Burke runs to set off the bomb, it is dark in the exterior shots of the sole remaining soldier. But when Carnby and Cedrac blast through the storm door outside the orphanage it's daylight.
