Not everyone was happy with the CW schedule for the start of 2010 - some because of One Tree Hill's six-month hiatus and others because there won't be a new Gossip Girl episode until March 8. But central to the CW's schedule shakeup agenda is a new drama that looks promising and, dare we say it, not like the crop of shows that are currently airing on the cable network.
Life UneXpected looks like it doesn't have the scandal and glitz of Gossip Girl and the intense drama of One Tree Hill, but a refreshing, kind of warm humor and ambiance of something in between, something that you'd expect from ABC Family or the old WB. And why not, with alums from Dawson's Creek and Roswell, people have high hopes for Life UneXpected. Here's the extended preview:

"Heroes" has found yet another series low as November sweeps wraps up, earning a 3.1 rating/5 share Monday, according to Fast National ratings from The Nielsen Co. That was a 3 percent drop from the previous week, but still a drop from what was a series low 3.2/5 to set a new bottom mark. The new mark for "Heroes" now represents a 20.5 percent drop from its low season premiere Sept. 21, and is more than 11 percent off its average following 11 episodes so far. "Heroes" is 25 percent off its average from last season, and 47 percent off its average from two years ago. It also finished behind "Trauma," which built on ... »

The former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star split from actress Heather McComb earlier this year and has now started legal proceedings to officially end their six-year marriage. The papers were filed at a Los Angeles court and James cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their break-up. The pair tied the knot in Malibu in 2003, six months after the sixth and final season of 'Dawson's Creek' aired. James’ co-stars Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips attended the intimate ceremony. Friends suspected a divorce was brewing when the couple sold their $2.5 million home in Studio City, California, in March. They put the mansion - which features 180-degree canyon, mountain and city views, and a luxurious mist cooling system - on the market. Since they tied the knot, James - who played Dawson Leery in the Us teen drama - has guest starred in 'How I Met Your Mother', 'One Tree Hill', »

Things just aren't looking good for Heroes. The show has been floundering in the ratings for quite a long time, and Monday night's episode, "Brother's Keeper," was no exception. With that episode, viewership for the series hit an all-time low, with only 5.1 million viewers. That's an even lower number than the same night's episode of Trauma, which gathered up 5.2 million viewers. And Trauma's already been canceled.
NBC followed up those two shows with The Jay Leno Show, which got 4.5 million viewers, perhaps pushed up by the guest appearance of New Moon star Taylor Lautner.
Fox was the real winner of Monday night, with House, their sure-shot show amassing 12.9 viewers, making it the most-watched show of the night for the network. It's follow-up, Lie to Me, gathered about 5 million less viewers, but was still a success for the network.
CBS was also on top of their game, with How I Met Your Mother »

But the week after that, we'll be treated with an episode jam-packed with juicy drama and revelations, making it all worth the wait.
