Trivia:

All the music (except for the opening, ending theme, and a song sung by Yumiko Kobayahsi in the 2nd episode) is recycled from Excel Saga.

Goofs:

Continuity: In the "Bed at the classroom" scene, Futaba holds the Poemi's left hand while they're on the bed, but in a close shot, the hand that Futaba is holding is like the hand of an adult woman. In the next shot, she's holding the small Poemi's hand.

Funny. Don't believe the haters.

This is just about THE funniest series I've seen to date and that says a lot. I've seen the entire series of Excel Saga and that was crazy enough..... Puni Puni Poemi goes way beyond anything you've seen in Excel Saga. It's crazier, the characters are solid and mesh well, it's funnier and it's easily a "must buy" series in my honest opinion. If you think this is just another off the wall anime, you'd be dead wrong.

I do wish that it was longer though, and that's about the only gripe I have about this series. Please, for the love of Pete, if you like good, wacky slapstick and lots of physical humor, pick this one up. Heck, at least rent it, but get this work of art in your head! (^-^ )v
