Trivia:

Dana Barron is the first (and to-date only) actress to reprise her role as Audrey Griswold, from Vacation (1983). In all the "Vacation" movies, the Griswold children are played by different actors/actresses in each movie.

Goofs:

Continuity: When the family is boarding the boat, the bow and stern of the boat are tied to the dock. Cousin Eddie unties the line from the stern. In the next shot the boat takes off, and the bow line has disappeared.

All I want for Christmas is for them to stop making these awful "Vacation" movies ...

I watched about the first 30 - 40 minutes of this movie on television the other night and can agree that this is by far the worst of the series. Not any of it is funny, even Randy Quaid can't save this mess. Eric Idle wasn't funny in N.L. Euro. Vacation, and he's even worse here. The only funny scene is where they're at the airport and some guy dressed as Santa walks by the camera yelling "Did anybody lose this?" as he holds up a prosthetic leg...
