• Continuity: When Julian is telling Danny that he has to go to Arizona, the first time we see him (Julian) drinking orange juice, the clock on the wall behind him shows 5:45am. In all subsequent shots, the clock is relative to a base time of 5:28am.
  
  
• Continuity: When Julian and Danny are at the bullfight, Danny is wearing a light blue shirt and khaki pants. Afterwards when they're both having a drink at the outdoor cafe, Danny appears to be wearing a yellow button down shirt under his jacket with dark blue pants. The scene immediately after, when Danny is sitting on the floor listening to a message from his partner, he is back to wearing the light blue shirt and khaki pants.
  
  
• Continuity: When Danny, Bean and Julian are drinking whiskey late at night in the Wright's house, the position of the bottle moves from the table, to on top of a book, and back onto the table again during different camera shots of them all talking.
  
  

• Continuity: When Danny meets Julian in the bar, in the close-up, he's holding his drink by the glass; in the wider shot, he's suddenly holding it by the stem.
  
  
• Continuity: When Julian first meets Danny at the hotel bar in one shot he is seen smoking his cigarette, but when the camera angle changes he is not any more.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When Julian and Danny get out of the rental car in the middle of the night, in the middle of winter, you can't see their "breath". The scene was obviously shot during warmer weather, using fake snow.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Julian is telling the story about his first mistake in Manila, the camera can be seen, hidden behind palm leaves and bamboo, when two guys holding a mirror are walking through the frame.
