The Settlers is an interesting, impartial documentary of Jewish settlers in Hebron spanning 1999-2001. Although it does not interview any Palestinians, members of the Palestinian Authority, Israeli soldiers or members of the Israeli government, its interviews with Jewish settlers (mostly the women of the household) is enlightening as to their mindsets. It sheds light on the religious mindset it takes to live there while asking the question of why they would want this type of life. Most importantly, it shows the religious fervor required to put their families at such risk. For all interested in middle east politics, this hour-long documentary is definitely worth watching.
