The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

The movie is about a noted sex-researcher and the conflict between his scientific methods and the emotions that often accompany sex.

A young man confesses to a friend that he is worried by his frequent nocturnal emissions.

A man changes into pajamas in front of another man. This involves very clear full frontal and rear nudity.

A man asks an older man if he'd like to have sex.

There is a montage of a man caressing a woman's bare breast, a man kissing a woman's nipple, a man performing oral sex on a woman, and two men and a woman having sex.

A man says that his first oral sex was with his father. He reports having sex with half the members of his extended family. He claims to have had sex with thousands of men and women and hundreds of girls and boys. When he begins to describe what a little boy's orgasm is like, the interviewers interrupt his account.

A woman talks about having had an affair with another woman and about how Kinsey's studies helped her put her experience into perspective.

Violence & Gore

A man displays a branding scar on his chest. He says that the scar was put there by family members when he was ten years old as punishment for playing around with another boy.

We see a scuffle between two men, but it is broken up before any damage is done.

We see a man in a robe sitting in a bathroom with blood at his feet. He reports that he punctured his foreskin to see what it would feel like.

Profanity

Smoking and social drinking are shown.

The sexual histories are spoken by the interview subjects, often directly to the camera. Some of them may elicit strong emotions.
