Fun Stuff

Trivia:
Moore decided not to submit the film for consideration for the Best Feature Documentary Oscar because he wanted to attempt to have it broadcast prior to the US Presidential Election on 2 November 2004 and the rules for that Oscar dictate a longer waiting time for an eligible film to be broadcast. In addition, since he already won an Oscar in that category, he felt the above reason took precedence and he might as well let other documentarians have a fair chance at the award. Instead, Moore announced his intention to have his film compete in the Best Picture category which has less strict submission rules. more
Quotes:
[first lines]
Narrator: Was it all just a dream?
Al Gore: God bless you, Florida! Thank you!
Narrator: Did the last four years not really happen? Look, there's Ben Affleck. He's often in my dreams. And the Taxi Driver guy. He was there too. And little Stevie Wonder, he seemed so happy... like, like a miracle had taken place. Was it a dream? Or was it real?

You should not call this a Documentary., 25 July 2004
1/10
Author: vannstockwell from Tennessee

It has been proven that this is a documentary, however, Hollywood and its supports want to mislead Americans and state that it is. If you want to rate this just as a Movie that is fine, but the Industry has crossed the line to call this a Documentary. I hope and pray that someone does a REAL Documentary on Michael Moore and let's see how that ranks at the Theaters. Someone should edit this movie for content and mark where the truth and the lies are then it might be worth watching and commenting on whether it is a documentary or not. This was a major let down from our Country and fellow Americans who believe this propaganda and state that it is a Documentary.
