Interesting idea, but executed extremely poorly, 13 August 2008
1/10
Author: tenpercent from Midwest - USA

1 star because I could not vote any lower.

I think whoever wrote this, as well as the director, were apparently stoned out of their heads on acid.

The idea was interesting - two sisters Grace (Sienna Guillory) and Violet (Alicia Silverstone), the oldest probably approaching her 40's, the younger in her thirties, living in an fantasy world of insanity, have a plan that involves inviting a drifter they meet at a bar, to their home.

I got the impression the plan was supposed to be for one or perhaps both of them to become pregnant, but things so awry when Luke (Joe Anderson)begins trying to persuade Violet to go away with him. In keeping with today's idea of what looks sexy, this young man was so grungy he looked like an unwashed weasel and as if he had been sleeping under a bridge for several months. What either of these women could possibly see in him, I can't imagine.

What ruins this film is the way in which the story is told. The dialog was the strangest, most nonsensical I think I have ever heard in a film. This was accompanied by odd behavior that was frequently completely meaningless and oft repeated flashbacks of their deceased father, who definitely was insane by anybody's standards.
