The footage is from the first film, Blade (1998), in which the superhero is telling his life story to Dr. Jenson.

The third installment of the Blade-series was rated R by the MPAA for its theatrical release. Later, there was also an unrated extended version available on DVD and Blu-ray. This extended cut runs more than 9 minutes longer and adds more story and slightly more action to the theatrical cut.
