Bruckheimer's King Arthur adaptation got a PG-13 rating for its cinema release although it was originally designed as a R-rated movie. Several scenes had to be cut in order to achieve the lower rating. Those bits and pieces were reinserted for the Unrated Director's Cut of the movie that was released on DVD. This longer version is far more violent than the well-known theatrical cut but there are also several story extensions. In total, the DC is nearly 15 minutes longer than the PG-13 version.
