i remember when i picked up this movie few years ago from one of my friends, according from the title "true gore", i thought this will be another shockumentary like the "faces of death". well it wasn't. actually this movie doesn't have much gore and the title mismatching with this film.. but when i heard that this movie was banned in 38 countries, my biggest question was: for what the hell it was banned ?! even by '87 year standards such ban is too rough.. anyway, this documentary is not so bad and have really interesting moments. for example psychiatric interviews with necrophiliacs (man and woman). it showing us a closer look of this sick disease, what they're dreaming about and the most horrific thing is that they're afraid of themselves, because they know how sick they are. at the end man says something like "i'm happy that i'm caught and isolated".. also it's nice to see Monte Cazazza in this film. nothing new for me here except short view of his short movie "SXXX-80". should be strange and interesting piece. now i'm looking for it to see. of course besides that you'll see more in this documentary, but the title still mismatching with this movie to me. maybe it should called "true problems", because the short story about plague and our times plague like aids is more like true problem, not true gore
