Trivia for
L.A. Twister (2004)

  • The wrap party at the end of the movie was the actual wrap party for the real production.

  • Sven Pape created a play based on the film and performed it in Los Angeles, prior to the premiere of the film. The play is a prequel to the film focusing on Lenny's initial arrival in L.A.. The entire play, auditions, rehearsals, performance were webcast live on the internet to demonstrate the process of acting. Thousands of internet users interacted with the actors, asked questions and took part in the shaping of the play.

  • The production was so overbudget after wrapping that they were unable to pay most of the extras who had participated in the film until almost a year later.

  • This is the smallest budget film ever to have its world premiere at the famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood

  • In the "Garage Sale" Scene Ethan offers Lenny (Zack Ward) a small leg-lamp, a reference to A Christmas Story (1983) in which Ward had appeared. Ward didn't know about this prop until the scene was shot and his real reaction to it is part of the scene.

  • 'Tony Daly' had to hang for five hours in the harness for the "suicide scene".

  • Robert Cannon ran naked down the red carpet at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre premiere as a publicity stunt and was arrested because of it.
