This movie is not as good as "Mask of the Phantasm" or "Subzero".This movie is not really dark.The violence is very strong here and there is some sexuality.Producer Bruce W.Timm,producer of "Batman:The animated series" and all it's spin-offs,did not work on this movie so it doesn't have a lot of darkness there.If you are a fan of the animated series buy this DVD.The main highlight of this movie is discovering the identity of the Batwoman.I can tell you that is very enjoyable to watch.Try to figure it out as you watch it.You find 3 mafia bosses here:Rupert Thorne,The Penguin and Carleton Duquene.They are all trying to deliver some new high tech weaponry to some gang lords from Kasnia.Unfortunately they have to deal with the Batwoman first as she is a distraction to them in delaying the shipments.As a 17 year old,I have to say this movie is a good collection to Bruce Timm's DC comics animated universe since the producer really made all these series for older viewers.
