This series (considered by most to be the Season 2 of "Starhunter" rather than a separate series) is far superior to its predecessor. The production design is positively luxurious by comparison, and the cast is likewise improved. The best part is the viewer can actually see what's going on--this show actually has a lighting budget. The sets are similar but don't look quite so cheap; the shots are wider so you don't feel like you're looking at partial sets anymore. Tanya Allen returns as Percy; she doesn't look any older (except for not adding jewel-tone colors to her hair anymore) which is odd since this series takes place about 15 years later than the first. Clive Robertson as the now adult Travis is a better actor than Michael Parè (as if that would be difficult), but he underplays rather severely here, to the point that it gets irritating. With a little more fun, a little more emotion, and a less-opaque plot, this could turn out to be a pretty good show, which is nothing short of miraculous after seeing the first season.
