This one is much better than Bahay ni Lola, Regal Film's entry in the 2001 Metro Manila Film Festival. Hyped as the sequel to the Bahay ni Lola, this movie is actually not a second part. Although created by the production and director behind the Bahay ni Lola (and that most cast members of Bahay ni Lola are in this movie), this film has no connection to Bahay ni Lola (except maybe they maintained the word Lola - that's for grandmother, who is played by Gloria Romero (both in Bahay ni Lola and Singsing ni Lola). There are scary parts, yet there are some dead portions. I'll give 10 to Gina Alajar. Allan K also did some pretty acting, but his transformation into a big cat is very awful. It's very sad that this movie did not make much money when it was released (despite the P40 million budget). Maybe the viewers were anticipating that it is as boring as the Bahay ni Lola, which was reportedly the big-office winner in the 2001 Metro Manila Film Festival.
