  • Originally, there were a few scenes that explain more about Steve Lemme's character (Juan) - apparently, he grew up on a goat farm - but they were the first to be removed from the film.

  • The joke about pronouncing Penelope as Peen-Na-Lope, came about when Jay Chandrasekhar & Kevin Heffernan went to a screening of Carlito's Way (1993), and when Penelope Ann Miller's name came up on the screen a man behind the two said, "Peen-Na-Lope? What kind of a name is Peen-Na-Lope?"

  • Cameo: [Sheri Kornhaber] The film's head of makeup department, can be seen in the club at the bar sitting next to Putman and Dirk.

  • When the staff members are looking at Coconut Pete's old album, one of the song titles is "I Could Tell Ya, But Then I'd Have Tequila".

  • Broken Lizard screened the film for Jimmy Buffett, who was so amused that he requested permission to sing some of the film's original songs on one of his live tours.

  • During the campfire scene, the cast tells the story of a former employ being tricked into having sex with a female corpse and going insane. This closely resembles the back story of the killer in the movie Terror Train (1980).

  • In the DVD Commentary, it is explained that the line "How many of you knew that he was uncircumcised and smelled of oranges?" was a line included in the script to see if anyone was really reading the script before the film was green lit.

  • All the main characters with mustaches in 'Club Dread' are characters who did NOT have mustaches in Super Troopers (2001). Those without mustaches in 'Club Dread' DID have mustaches in 'Super Troopers.'
