Vin Diesel has reportedly pulled out of his XXX comeback.

The action man is no longer attached to XXX : The Return of Xander Cage, according to website CineFools.com.

Diesel's departure follows news director Rob Cohen quit the project this summer and was replaced by little-known moviemaker Ericson Core.

MovieHole.net reports Diesel had been training for the film since August. Details about the reasons for his departure have not been released.

Diesel initially agreed to return to the XXX franchise after rapper/actor Ice Cube played the lead in xXx 2: State of The Union. »
