Crew or equipment visible: In the laboratory, one of the supposedly gray, rotting, skeletal zombies lying on a table has a very visible pink, healthy nose sticking out of its skull.
Continuity: When Casper is pulled through the window with zombies hacking and chewing on her legs, her stumps end up as two clean cuts, even with each other.
Continuity: When the swimmer-girl notices that her boyfriend disappeared and she walks back to the beach leaving the water, her back and chest are already dry.
Factual errors: When shooting several zombies approaching his boat, Captain Victor Kirk uses a Desert Eagle pistol and fires 13 times in a row without reloading - a Desert Eagle magazine can hold only 7 to 9 rounds, depending on the caliber.
Revealing mistakes: After the group barricaded the house, Alicia finds a book she claims to be a ship's journal. A captain's log should be handwritten, but the text in the book is printed.
Crew or equipment visible: After Greg lost Casper in the forest, he gets chased by a bunch of zombies. He hides under a tree, but they discover him again. That's when you can see one of the jumping devices one zombie uses to bash against a tree.
Crew or equipment visible: There are several times zombies make spectacular leaps. In several scenes, most notably the ten minute shoot out in the graveyard, the spring catapult that is used to launch the stuntman is visible launching the "zombie" into the air.
Continuity: In the boat shootout, the same zombie (with the net on his back) is killed four or more times.
Continuity: The rain comes and goes from moment to moment. This is especially noticeable during the extremely long shootout sequence where it is alternately raining/not raining between cuts.
Continuity: When Simon blows up the gun powder, the front door of the house is shown being blown outward onto the steps. However, the front door was already blown into the house when Capt. Kirk exploded the stick of dynamite outside the house.
Crew or equipment visible: At the beginning of the 12-minute shoot-out, the camera pulls away from the group of protagonists in slow-mo. At the bottom of the screen, you can see the dolly-track that the camera is riding on.
Continuity: Kirk leaves his ship and appears on land shooting at the zombies in the water. Yet he is not wet at all.
Continuity: When the characters are shown in bullet time in the long shootout scene, they are almost invariably holding different weapons than they do in the rest of the scene. It is impossible that they would have sufficient time to switch weapons multiple times.
Continuity: When the characters are shown in bullet time in the long shootout scene, they are all wearing different clothes than in the previous normal time scenes.
Revealing mistakes: When Cynthia is shot by Casper, the impact sends her flying. If you look closely you can see a harness under her skirt and over her shoulders (under her blouse).
Continuity: In the graveyard shoot-out, one of the girls shows up with two pistol in her hands. When she is about to fire her guns, she has a shotgun.
Continuity: When Simon is pinned to the door by zombies and is about to shoot the powder keg he suddenly disappears then reappears.
Continuity: At the rave, the bare-breasted dancer changes her position on the stage between shots.
Continuity: Matt watches his girlfriend swimming in the sea from the beach. But he doesn't appear in the wide shots that show her and the beach. Her head partially obscures the view of the particular shot but when she moves, only Matt's white trousers are visible on the beach.
Continuity: Simon's wound changes its form and size when he examines it in the house.
Continuity: When the "Lazarus V" anchors at a shore where there is no landing stage. Later Simon jumps from one when he tries to swim out to the boat. It is clearly a different location.
Continuity: When Matt is mauled by the zombies, the blood on his chin disappears between shots, then reappears.
Crew or equipment visible: During of the fight scene in front of the house, the second camera operator is visible at the left part of the screen.
Continuity: During the long fight in front of the house, Karma fights off three zombies using a shotgun. Only two are hit, and the third vanishes between shots.
Continuity: The legless zombie in the house disappears after he is shot by Alicia. Yet she retrieves his axe from the ground.
Crew or equipment visible: When the group arrives to find the graveyard crawling with zombies, the ground is littered with the red flares that illuminate the scene.
Continuity: After Casper shoots Cynthia, she talks to the rest of the group. During this dialogue, Simon changes his position from the left to right. Liberty stands right next to Simon in one shot but in next she has moved a little to the left.
Continuity: When Simon examines the bleeding wound on his cheek in the mirror, he lifts the plaster. In the next shot the plaster is back in place.
Revealing mistakes: When the group is inside the house at night, daylight shines through the blinds.
Continuity: Simon closes the log of the "San Christobal" when they leave to investigate the house. But in the next shot the book is opened again.
Anachronisms: When Rudy is talking to Alicia about Casper's death, there is an electric light on, even though the house was built and furnished before the light bulb was invented (Note: this error was pointed out by Uwe Boll himself in the commentary).
Continuity: In the water Liberty is attacked from behind by a zombie, she drops the knife she was holding. The knife later returns and she uses it to fight off the zombie.
Continuity: As Captain Kirk is standing on the deck of his boat waiting for Salish to come back, it's pouring with rain everywhere except on the uncovered deck of the boat. Kirk comes and goes, in and out of the cabin, completely dry.
Revealing mistakes: During the long shootout in front of the house, one girl shoots a zombie, and he goes flying back. You can see a wire attached to him.
Continuity: When they are all on the beach and Simon kicks the zombie, which flips over and spits in his face, the spit hits his whole face, and some of his chest, yet later in the movie he has just one cheek affected by the acidic spit.
Continuity: One of the girls reading the log book says that the book records the death of the crew and the Padre turning the boat toward Ilse del Morte. If the Padre killed the captain and the crew, who wrote the logs?
Revealing mistakes: While running through the woods from the zombies, one goes flying through the air, as this happens you can see the spring board come off of the ground and into the shot.
Factual errors: In the flashback of the main villain, when hung by the neck, he screams about his achieved immortality. Immortal or not, or rather "invincible", he should not be able to scream or talk at all as the noose should prevent this.
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): The main villain, a pirate who lived off swordplay for years or even centuries, according to story, is very easily defeated by some guy who never held a sword in his hand. The villain's (the actor) swordplay is not skilled at all.
Factual errors: On a few occasions in the film, whenever somebody is shot with a pistol or a rifle, like in most action films they fly back several feet. However this is impossible. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, so if the shot was powerful enough to send the victim flying several feet through the air then theoretically the blast would be powerful enough to send the person who shot the round flying backwards several feet too. Realistically if a person is shot, they would simply fall over or stumble.
