...surely one of the dumbest lines in one of the dumbest movie trailers I've seen in years.

Add this to the pile of sucky post-Millenial religious thrillers... "End of Days", "Lost Souls", "Stigmata", "Bless the Child"... all derivative, empty-headed exercises in bad special effects, half-baked theologizing, and embarrassing dialogue, crammed into a blender with equal parts "The Exorcist", "The Omen" and "Se7en".

These movies all stink and it's not hard to understand why...they're written with no real soul and the religious themes are explored with all the depth of a Goth music video. "The Exorcist", for all its Catholic trappings, was about real human insecurities and failings which is why it still resonates after three decades. "The Order" is, at its core, about bad CGI effects.
