- Continuity: The last overhead shot of the bus shows the damage caused by the Creeper crashing onto it (the tear along its width), but not the hole closer to the front of the bus, from which he was stabbed earlier.
- Continuity: When the students are locked outside the bus the Creeper returns and everyone starts to run into the field. There's an overhead shot that shows the students about 30 feet away from the bus while Bucky is sitting on the hood. A second later we see the students running, and Bucky is almost in the lead.
- Continuity: When the coach is trying to pull the object out of the tire, the wider shot shows him using his left arm, but the close shot shows a right hand pulling it out.
- Continuity: When the scarecrow mangles the truck, the truck loses a wheel, but it reappears later, tires installed and barely a scratch on it.
- Factual errors: The Creeper is supposed to hunt every spring. In the opening scenes, the cornfields all show full stalks of corn. Cornstalks are not that full until late summer or fall. In the spring, they are just being planted.
- Crew or equipment visible: When the creeper crashes through the truck and causes it to flip end over end near the end of the film, the device that was used to blow the rear end of the truck upwards is visible on the bottom of the truck under the bed.
- Revealing mistakes: The eyeball on the javelin is looking the wrong way.
- Continuity: Toward the beginning of the film, when farmer Taggert and his older son are chasing the Creeper as he is dragging away the younger son, the sun is at their backs. When the Creeper flies away with the kid a minute later, they are now facing the sun, it having made a 180 degree change in position.
- Continuity: The sun really bounces around in the first scene. Although the Creeper is seen flying off into the setting sun (and yet, the sun is at the backs of the people chasing it) the sun is high in the sky moments earlier when the boy looks up at the Creeper on the scarecrow post.
- Continuity: When everyone has to get off the bus, Minxie gets up, but in the next shot she's sitting down.
- Revealing mistakes: When the Creeper is choosing his victims and he climbs sideways up the side of the bus, the guide wires holding him up are visibly seen above him.
- Continuity: When the coach and bus driver check the first tire, the Creeper's throwing star is shown stuck in the inside of the sidewall, not the outside where it would have been.
- Factual errors: At the end of the credits the year besides the title says 2002 when the movie was released in 2003.
- Continuity: Just before the second flat tire, Minxie is dreaming and in her dream she is sitting on the left side of the bus but the shots to the outside of the bus are looking from the right side of the bus (in reality, she is on the right side of the bus, though).
- Continuity: Just after the opening sequence when the team is singing on the bus the camera moves from the front to the back of the bus with a clear view out the back window. It looks off for 2 seconds at one of the characters and then you hear the horn of a truck with a giant cockroach on the roof on it behind the bus. When the camera was moving from the front to the back of the bus there was clearly no truck approaching the back of the bus.
- Continuity: (At 23:33) Into the movie as it shows the Creeper running in slow motion towards the driving bus and throws his version of the Ninja Star, the camera allows you to see the perspective of the star flying through the air. When it reaches the point of impact not only does the camera angle change, but so does the time of day from afternoon (when he throws the star) to night (when it hits the tire).
