Paul Mercurio as a bad guy? Who would have ever guessed the Strictly Ballroom hunk, would play a hood? Not your normal hoodlum, a weak, hood that picks on the little guys. Well done Paul. And Simon Westaway, does he have a presence, you bet he does. I saw him in a TV series called Phoenix, he was brilliant in that, and he is excellent in this movie. The more I think about this movie,the more I like it. The women in the film are not token 'set dressing'. Both play integral roles in the story and both dig deep into their characters. This is a top movie with some fantastic songs by Kevin Johnson. I loved it and highly recommend you see it.
