Before we continue, Renny Harlin’s upcoming film “Georgia” is not about The Peach State and the tale how Coca-Cola will one day flow out of our drinking fountains. “Georgia” is based on last year’s conflict between Russia and the country of Georgia. THR reports that hottie/red-carpet eye candy Emmanuelle Chriqui will play opposite Val Kilmer in the drama about an American journalist (Kilmer) and his cameraman caught in the crossfire and a Georgia native (Chriqui) and doctoral student who becomes entangled with them.
Chriqui is best known for her role on “Entourage” playing the love interest of Kevin Connolly’s character, Eric. Since “Entourage’ is a fantasy, I believe the most recent episode featured a tearful goodbye between them before Eric had to go and drop the The One Ring into Mount Doom. Kilmer has appeared in numerous roles but he has a lifetime free pass from »

There are many things in this life that do not make me want to bang my head against the trash can by my desk. That's right. Surprise. I have a desk. But for some reason, the news that Fox is planning on revamping a series whose last film came out as late as 2007 baffles me to the point of shoving my head into a trash compactor. Not that I have anything specifically against Fox, even though it seems like it, the reason they need to reboot anything is because they failed to create lasting franchises in the first place. And according to Variety, this bad boy is coming courtesy of Akiva Goldsman. Yes, friends! From the Producer that brought you Deep Blue Sea And Mindhunters And Poseidon And I Am Legend And Hancock comes a reboot of a franchise that Fox has no idea how to create or market in the first place. Chicago – Renny Harlin’s “12 Rounds,” starring the WWE’s John Cena and now available on Blu-Ray and DVD, is a shockingly dull affair, an action film that tries to maintain a breakneck pace but forgets that movie rollercoasters are only fun with ups And downs instead of just a numbing series of stunt sequences.
Blu-Ray Rating: 1.0/5.0 The reasonably effective Cena (although he had more to do in “The Marine”) plays a New Orleans police officer named Danny Fisher, an average cop who happens to stop a brilliant thief whose girlfriend is accidentally killed in the process. A year later, the thief has escaped from prison with only one apparent goal - enacting his revenge on Danny.
12 Rounds was released on Blu-Ray on June 30th, 2009.

I'm among those who can't wait to see Josh Brolin take the screen as the legendary gunslingin' bounty hunter Jonah Hex, but when Variety announced the creative team behind the upcoming film I have to say I was somewhat baffled. Now, the Jonah Hex story is strange even by comic book accounts with one storyline taking the ex-Confederate into the future - but I would argue the team assembled to bring the anti-hero to life is even stranger.
Here's the team:
Directed by Jimmy Hayward (Horton Hears a Who)
This will only be Jimmy's second directorial duty and I have to say I'm a bit concerned. Turning from an animated Dr. Seuss feature to a dark and wry, anti-hero western tale seems a bit of a stretch. Horton Hears a Who was easily the best Seuss adaptation to come along in the last 10 years but even so, the source material »

Two major movie stars are heading to television for a spin-off to "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service". "Batman and Robin" star Chris O'Donnell and "Mindhunters" star slash rapper LL Cool J are reportedly in talks to be the main cast of the not-yet-titled spin-off.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, O'Donnell will play an average guy named Callen who is born to do undercover work, "taking on different identities". LL Cool J meanwhile, is considered for the role of Sam Hannah who is a tough but charming former U.S. Navy Seal.
CBS have reportedly ordered for a pilot that will air as an episode of "NCIS" this Spring, very much like when the pilot of "NCIS" aired as an episode of "Jag".
Meanwhile, a preview of "NCIS" for the February 10 episode has been available. While investigating the death of a Marine, the team finds themselves intertwined in an inner city gang war. »

The most recent draft was written by Marc Wolff. Kramer will do a pass on the script. Kramer’s credits include the Paul Walker action flick Running Scared, Mindhunters and the William H.
