  • Continuity: In the final scene, we see the two survivors fly off in their helicopter. We know that the helicopter is scheduled for 8:00 AM and that the island they're on is off the US east coast. Still, the helicopter flies into the sun in the final shot. If the sun is rising, they are flying in the wrong direction. If the sun is setting, they are flying at the wrong time.

  • Continuity: After collecting ammo in the morgue Rafe's gun keeps switching between being a Glock 17 and an Beretta 92F

  • Continuity: Towards the end, when Vince is in the elevator, his gun once again switches between being a Glock and a Beretta. His gun actually should be the Glock.

  • Continuity: When the last guy is shot at the swimming pool, he falls with his side towards the pool. The next shot is taken from inside the pool and we see him fall face forward in it.

  • Continuity: When Gabe is held captive, the handcuffs disappear and reappear between shots.

  • Continuity: After J.D. dies they carry him on a bier out of the house. At this time Nicole is holding a gun in her hand and Bobby is carrying a thermal imager. But they weren't supposed to bring weapons and don't have access to thermal imagers and firearms until they break into the (restricted) support area of the island.

  • Continuity: Just after the boat incident, it is supposed just after 11:30. However, right before the scene of Sara stitching up Lucas' arm, we see a clock number flip from "00" to "01". Sara then looks at a clock and it's 11:40.

  • Factual errors: When Bobby takes out the starter of the tube-light, the tube-light goes off. The starter only serves to start the light and makes no contribution to its continued operation.

  • Crew or equipment visible: When the team enters the main building on the island for the first time there is an overhead shot in which an entire sound crew holding a boom mic is visible on a balcony in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.

  • Revealing mistakes: When J.D. and his partner are driving past a house, then stop and back up, a tow line is visible pulling the car backwards

  • Crew or equipment visible: Just as Rafe and Bobby are about to enter the restaurant, the CCTV camera is seen again and the cameraman can be seen reflected in the camera's lens.

  • Factual errors: During the underwater shootout at the end of the film, the semi-automatic pistols used would not cycle the rounds as shown. The guns would fire underwater, but after the first shot the guns would jam because there would not be enough pressure generated to overcome the water pressure and fully eject the spent cartridge. A second shot would not be possible until the jam is manually cleared.

  • Continuity: In the scene after they first arrive on the island, they are doing the bet with the Rubix Cube. When Bobby or Lucas looks at the watch, it says SAT on it. That is supposed to be Friday night. They are investigating the crime scene Saturday morning. They had just arrived there and are settling in.

  • Revealing mistakes: During the DNA test sequence, the visuals on the progress meter for the "DNA sampling machine" read sample amplfication, rather than sample amplification.

  • Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Towards the end when Gabe handcuffs his chair to the table, it shows Vince shaking his leg when he is supposed to be paralyzed from the waist down.

  • Continuity: When Rafe and the others are drinking coffee, Rafe's coffee mug disappears and reappears between shots.

  • Factual errors: When Bobby solves the Rubik's cube he claims it took him 1 minute and 45 seconds when in reality it took him 2 minutes and 7 seconds to solve it.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Bobby is talking to Jen after making the bet with Lucas, he disappears and reappears as Rafe is profiling the man at the bar.

  • Factual errors: In the scene with the bloody numbers on the windows, each set of numbers is supposed to continuously repeat itself on each of the windows. However, on the window that reads 299,792,458 there is a mistake above this number the first time it shows you the window. It reads 892,792,458.

  • Continuity: When Sarah falls in the water after the boat explosion, she can be seen hovering in the water unconscious. But when she comes to the top after being rescued she starts breathing immediately, without showing any signs of 'just being unconscious'.

  • Continuity: When J.D. and Nicole are kissing in the shower they switch places all of a sudden.

  • Revealing mistakes: The CCTV camera shown in the film has no cables coming from the cable entry glands at the back of the housing, nor is the mount it is on a cable-concealed bracket, thus the camera would not be powered or capable of transmitting footage. Additionally, the housing and bracket shown is not a PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) telemetry housing and thus would not be able to rotate side to side.

  • Factual errors: The elevator in the building is showing the Dutch sign for Ground floor (B for Begane grond).

  • Factual errors: Liquid nitrogen is never stored in a pressurized vessel as depicted in the film.

  • Continuity: SPOILER: When the guy in the end gets shot he bleeds out of his neck. The next shot, when he gets out of the water, his neck shows no harm. Even though his words are, "I even got your bullet in my neck."
