When a typical American family stop their family trip at a highway rest area, the girls discover an abandoned baby in the bathroom. While the family decides what to do in light of this development, they encounter the mother, a teenage girl determined to get to her homecoming dance.
Given the news stories surrounding real-life events like this it was only a matter of time before someone made a movie about it. Unfortunately, this short is not only short on length but on inspiration and concept. Its unclear what the message, if any is. There seem to be no real insights gained by watching this film.
It's always a bad sign when you are watching a short and you have the recurring thought... Isn't it over yet?
