I still have no idea what this film was about. He had a go at everything but got nothing out of it. The only part I might respect is the fact that he got a guy swearing in it, because the Maltese swear all the time but its the first time I saw one swearing on the screen. But for the rest of it its pretty hopeless, even the humour is really base. The film was made in black and white for no apparent reason except that the director thought it pretty cool and trendy to make it in black and white. Basically I had no idea what I was supposed to appreciate or get from it, its so non intentionally abstract. Why was it called Genesis anyway? Again just because it sounds cool maybe. Its like one of these rubbish abstract modern paintings which means nothing but is given a very intellectual title to make it sound grand but im not going to be fooled. This film is Lame. I still have to see a Maltese film I can praise, I long for it.
