Had seen this film at a festival in LA, and man does it deliver a whammie!
OK, my parents are from Malta and I may be rooting for the home team, but compared to the big-budget crap that comes out of this country this film rocks the boat!
And for Malta being such a staunchly Catholic island, it must have taken the filmmakers a lot of guts to deal so openly with gay issues, open couples and all. This is the original Y Tu Mama Tambien!
Not to say that it does not have bad points. Not sure about it being in B&W, and the accents do jar a bit sometimes (although with such a mix of nationalities, I'm not at all surprised).
Would love to watch it again, but can't find it anywhere!
