As a one off this show might have worked but to option it as an entire series beggars belief.
The appeal of the original show is that the babies are more clued up than the parents yet in a skewed naive kind of way (mispronouncing mundane things and making them sound fantastical etc.) or from similar innocent dream/make believe sections.
Now the kids are "All grown up" or pre-teens which with the high teenage pregnancy rate shouldn't really be seen as all grown up their is little to differentiate it from shows like Recess or All About Ginger (a show which is not thought of so highly i believe).
Either get some new INVENTIVE/ORIGINAL ideas for the original show or leave it as comedy gold in syndication. Scrap this rubbish and save money on animation cells.
