A solid program featuring wrestlers training/competing for a WWE contract. It isn't a reality show, since wrestling has never been known for being real. It is not a documentary, because the big screen "Beyond the Mat" movie displayed the true realism, and dark side of pro wrestling. No, this show is nothing more than straight up, fun entertainment, but it does humanize the grappling world. It's even better than "Raw" and "Smackdown."As for the contestants, a lot of them should never have been there. And half of the six through the first three seasons didn't even deserve to win. Maven, Nidia and Jackie (selected cause she's got huge fake juggs) had no discernible talent. However, the three others, Matt, John, and Linda were very skillful, very talented in the ring and clearly knew, and earned, their roles. Even if you never liked or watched WWF-E, this show qualifies as entertaining and somewhat educational. It even gives regular guys and girls hope for success. And that's the bottom line, because I said so!
