Trivia for
The Jungle Book 2 (2003)

advertisement
  • Originally planned as a direct-to-video release.

  • John Goodman recorded his voice work in New Orleans, while Haley Joel Osment recorded his in California.

  • The character of King Louie from the original Jungle Book film is not in this movie, because Disney would have had to pay the estate of voice actor Louis Prima had the character appeared in the film in any form.

  • During the Bear Necessities musical number, three prickly pears land on and stick to Kaa's head, making him look like Mickey Mouse.

  • Tony Jay portrayed Shere Kahn in this sequel. In the original, George Sanders played the voice of Shere Kahn. George Sanders also happens to be Tony Jay's real name.
