Trivia:
The film was released in Japan under the title "Jason Z" in a laughable attempt to connect it to the Friday the 13th sequel Jason X (2001). Shredder, of course, has no connection at all with the Friday the 13th series.

It is a very gory movie, and is obviously low budget, and obviously straight to DVD. I picked it up at blockbuster awhile a back, and i don't know i guess i did not like the comedy in this, the comedy was just placed randomly anywhere, it's like the director just told them "whatever you're doing, randomly, at any time, just say something stupid" like it was pretty dumb. The acting was O.K, with the exception of the girl who played PIKE, she was amazing, she deserves an Oscar, i really hope you caught the sarcasm. Alright movie, and ya, i guess it's worth a look, only if your into low budget horrors. And don't judge it by the trailer either, because it has all the good parts, and the incredibly stupid line randomly said in the trailer and in the movie - "When you're getting stalked by a serial killer, do not go into the basement" i was like instead of wasting 5 minutes saying that, why don't you run and get the hell out of there. Anyways ya, i guess overall, it was a pretty good slasher flick.
