Blue Submarine No.6 is truly great. It is the great storyline, likeable characters, and most of all terrific animation, that makes this movie the great movie it is. The mix of 3-D and classic animation is fantastic. One of my few complaints is the ending is a little confusing. The manga the movie is based on is incridble as well. In the end pretty much every aspect of the movie pulls together and works, and thats what counts. If you like anime, or just want to see a good sci-fi movie, do yourself a favor and buy or rent this movie.
