What is Jack's real name?

Unfortunately, Jack's real given name is never revealed throughout the whole show. Jack himself always introduces himself as "They call me Jack" or something similar.

Jack is never able to return to the past during the length of the series.

However, during one episode where Jack finds a stable portal through time but is defeated by the guardian, it is hinted that Jack WILL return to the past one day as the portal shows an older, bearded jack wearing a crown and a red cape, along with the guardian's comment of saying it's not yet time for him to use the portal.
